How to Apply

To be considered for funding, your organization must be registered with the IRS as a 501(c)(3) public charity or be partnered with a fiscal sponsor/agent that meets this requirement. The Revitalize Foundation supports organizations in the Chicagoland area (location specific) whose work aligns with our programmatic initiatives. Organizations that we fund demonstrate the efficiency of its community-focused programs, depth of impact, solid governance/management as well as demonstrated organizational fiscal health.

The Revitalize Foundation funds organizations throughout the Chicagoland region. At this point, we do not fund organizations that do not solely serve or impact the City of Chicago.

• General operating/project grants are available for organizations that meet the eligibility requirements above and are engaged in activities/programs that align with the Revitalize Foundation’s funding priorities.
• The Revitalize Foundation does not fund the following: Individuals, direct service, political campaigns, religious purposes or governmental entities.

Currently, the Revitalize Foundation welcomes requests for one year of funding for project-specific programming. For special circumstances, we will consider proposals for multi-year grants/programs.
